Ive been listening to the radio broadcast for quite a while and Ill continue to, but, this app lets me switch quickly to video for the visual details. Its a welcome addition to one of my most trusted news sources.

Love this show and this app. One problem fairly big. Shows dont automatically download for instance its Wednesday and I cant get past Monday.

When I was in a college a professor recommended Democracy Now as a news source worthy of following. We need more outlets like this in the wake of the massive flow of misinformation.

In short Pulitzer should be given to you for best coverage in Paris as I was unable to attend since my best friends medical appointments arranged by myself required my presence in Seattle so could not personally meet your great team. YOU ARE THE BEST! I totally rely on Democracy Now before I get out of bed in the morning! Continue coverage for Senator Sanders as all my communications to public need to use your website to massively spread the "real" facts to convince American voted they have the power to change our government to save the planet from sure destruction before I pass into my next life. I have taken responsibility for the damage my white ancestors who immigrated before 1776 caused to our slaves and genocide against our native people. Trying to repair my ancestors bed behavior with actions I personally performed in my present life. All must take responsibility for carbon in our air and how we consume. People can change how they think since my parents were Goldwater Republicans and I became a socialist and Buddhist at 19 in 1970 due to critical thinking skills my high school teachers taught me.

I Love this news program. I had a hard time listening after moving out of the city, so this App is wonderful, now I can easily listen regularly to the program. Thank you

DN is great but app is horrible! 1. Does not refresh date when re-opened /relaunched; 2. No refresh button (not even via home or menu); 3. If try to replay headlines it switches to full news (or even sometimes plays full news regardless of clicking headlines). Forget about this app. Stick with website-- much less frustrating.

While the info is great, it has a lot of trouble loading info. You cant read headlines, only listen to them, and the home screen doesnt load often. If theyd fix this, Id give it 5 stars.

new update fixes refresh problems and lets you search!

Im a big fan of Democracy Now, but Im reviewing the app, not their content. The app works very well. It loads quickly, and features everything youd find on the website. Headlines are essential if you dont have the time to watch/listen to the entire broadcast. Video/audio streaming also works well. Never had a problem with it. Great app overall. Would like to see some shorter audio/video clips in the future, but in reviewing what they have, Im very satisfied.

I love this app. The only way it could be better is if it were also available in Spanish! But overall this is a great app, very easy to navigate.

Tired of lies, misinformation and bad journalism? Well, these folks are my CNN, ABC, etc.

Audio and video stream flawlessly. And, as always, the news content is second to none.

The content is amazing. Democracy Now covers a lot that gets left behind in the sound-bite media world. DN focuses on issues and their impact on ordinary people, with top-both reporting and guests. As for the apps quality, its superior to lots of "show" apps that dont give you anything better than a podcast. The DN app has real added value, because you can listen to (or watch) the stories you want, or read the headlines, or even search for a story. I only wish that it would stream the live show in the morning.

Ex. Reporting Hillary Clinton wins the Arizona primary without mentioning voter suppression then going into a debate about who best beats Trump. I switched today to the Young Turks.
