Informative news from around the globe that is unlikely youll ever see on any corporately-owned mainstream media sources. A very polished production and enjoyable app! I watch it on an iPhone 6 Plus with earbuds. Crystal clear video featuring excellent journalism by Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzales and a bevy of credited and up-and-coming international individuals. Excellent interviews and viewpoints from academics. The "real" daily news on demand anytime you want to hear it. Its another way to open your eyes to whats really going on around the globe.

Flawlessly stream your favorite news with this well-designed necessity. Who can go a weekday without common-sense truth in their lives? This app makes it easier to follow one of the greatest news reporters of all time. We love you Amy!

If you are a progressive, this app will be amazing. The video runs smoothly and quickly. The audio only option is fantastic. Each show is also broken into stories in case you are busy. It even shows the transcript. No account creation is required. Every progressive radio show should be synced to this code and format. Its a work of art.

This is a must have app

Democracy Now! is the best news agency Ive found, by far. Their coverage is focused on being informative and educational, which is very rare in American media, these days. As for the app itself, it is easy to navigate and I appreciate the option to either watch or listen to the newscast, depending on ones data availability. "Just say no" to corporate media and "yes" to this independent, nonprofit, refreshing source of actual news.

Possibly the best, most intuitive apps I have ever used... If you want to watch, simple. If you want to listen to conserve data on your cell, boom, easy. If you want to search for past shows or web exclusives, they pop right up in the right order. Democracy Now is thorough!

To be clear I give DN as an organization and a daily news show a 500 star rating and my review is purely app based-- I am a long time listener/watcher but I generally get my daily DN on the train listening via the iPhone app. Recently I have been consistently getting an error from the app saying the Internet connection appears to be offline/no connectivity when I try to load the audio, even though my internet is working fine and I can load the video with no problems. I listen every day but this error is making it really difficult to do so, so if you could help out that would be much appreciated!!! Thanks for everything you guys do- Steve

Please update for iOS 9- it crashes and I cant read stories at all

Amy you are amazing and I love democracy now but it wont let me listen to the daily show in the app now, it crashes every time I click the headphones symbol! Hope this helps! Thanks again!
